A great example of a property we acquired and revitalized is Fred W. Jackson, Jr.’s Beach House, located in Barbuda.
The Beach House resort was acquired for $5M. It was then re-designed, re-constructed and re-introduced as a 5-Star resort. Sales, marketing and public relations were established in the US and UK. The resort gained international recognition. The property was appraised for $34M and sold in 2008.
The article that appeared in Maco Caribbean Destinations, by Roberta Parkin, begins . . .
“There is more probability of a fish wanting to leave the ocean than you wanting to leave the Beach House. but assuming you did, it would be very difficult. Between you and the closest dwelling, not to mention the airport, are miles of white sand streaked with pink in every direction, except south, which heads to the sea.”
